I am new to tig, I have a dynasty 200 and I am welding some 304 sch 5 (1/16) stainless 1.5" pipe. I am using 1/16 1.5% lanthenated tungsten with a gas lens. My problem is the grey oxidation on the weld using the 308 filler. I have tried to adjust my gas, amperage and speed (not at the same time) but I am only getting satisfactory results at best.
